About Me
I am a mother, partner, traveler, and eternal student of life.
My curiosity about the experience of being embodied has guided my study of yoga from the world of academia to the foothills of the Himalayas.

I have a master’s degree in Kinesiology (Humboldt State University), a BFA in Dance (Cornish College of the Arts), and several yoga and breathwork certificates. I am completing my 500-hour yoga teaching certificate with Janet Stone Yoga, and I received my 200-hour certificate in 2012 in a training that culminated with in-depth studies in India.

My yoga teaching experience includes a variety of settings such as universities, yoga studios, elementary schools, gyms, and festivals.
In addition to teaching yoga, I am an adjunct faculty member at Southern Oregon University in the Health and Physical Education Department. The courses I teach are in the psychosocial field of kinesiology and are influenced by my passion for understanding the mind-body connection and how to help people live with more awareness and joy.

I also love to work with children and have a Child Development Credential (Humboldt State University), and multiple certificates in kids’ yoga and laughter yoga.

Overall, my aim is to create an environment of compassion and curiosity, where we can show up as our most authentic selves and together experience the awe of being embodied.
