Upcoming Workshops and Special Events
Currently, I serve as a full-time faculty member in the Health and Exercise Science Department at Southern Oregon University. The courses I teach are in the psychosocial field of health and are influenced by my passion for understanding the mind-body connection and how we can live with more awareness, ease, and joy. My experience in teaching yoga spans a variety of settings, including yoga studios, K-12 schools, fitness centers, and festivals including Wanderlust, PranaFest, and the Oregon Country Fair.
My educational journey includes an MS in Kinesiology and a BFA in Dance, alongside a Child Development Credential and several certifications in a variety of yoga, breathwork, and musculoskeletal modalities. Always a student, I am currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Kinesiology and my 500+ hour training with Janet Stone Yoga has allowed me to continue deepening my practice and refine my teaching since receiving my 200-hour certificate in a training that culminated with in-depth studies in India in 2012.
In sharing my journey, I hope to offer a space of warmth and understanding. And overall, my aim is to create an environment of compassion and curiosity, where you can show up as your most authentic self and together we can experience the awe of being embodied.

I am a passionate instructor who deeply believes in the transformational potential of yoga. I look forward to connecting with you!
About Me
Hi, I'm Crystal. I'm a mother, traveler, teacher, and eternal student of life.
My curiosity about the experience of being embodied has guided me from the world of academia to the foothills of the Himalayas, on a journey of personal transformation and healing.
This blend of scientific knowledge, spirituality, and the depth of lived experience is foundational to how I teach and connect with students authentically and compassionately.
