Upcoming Workshops and Special Events
Grounded in the depth of lived experience and a passion for the mind-body connection, I bring a unique blend of science, spirituality, and compassion to my work. I hold an MS in Kinesiology and am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Kinesiology. My educational background also includes a BFA in Dance, a Child Development Credential, and several certifications in yoga, breathwork, and musculoskeletal modalities. My yoga practice has been profoundly shaped by over a decade of teaching, 500 hours of advanced training with Janet Stone Yoga and a 200-hour certification that culminated in immersive studies in India in 2012.
In addition to teaching yoga, I serve as a full-time faculty member in the Health and Exercise Science Department at Southern Oregon University. My courses focus on the psychosocial dimensions of health, exploring topics such as stress resilience, exercise psychology, community health, and health equity. Through this lens, I emphasize the intersection of mental, emotional, social, and physical well-being to help students understand and foster holistic health in their lives and communities.
Whether in the classroom, on the mat, or in community, my aim is to create a space where curiosity, ease, and authenticity thrive, inviting us all to expereince the awe of being embodied.
I look forward to connecting with you!
